Audrey Blue was born in Oakland, CA, and lives in San Francisco. She has studied painting and drawing at the San Francisco Art Institute and California College of the Arts. Her work explores themes of interior self and social space, be it cultural or political, and the effects of external pressures on the authentic self. She practices art making as a form of processing grief, through a multidisciplinary practice, creating a space for viewers to consider their own emotional landscape and motivations. Aside from making art she is a gardener, florist, nature enthusiast, and roller skater.
